There is a difference between photography and "taking pictures". Anyone can pick up a simple camera and snap some pictures of people, places and things. What sets photographers apart is their ability to turn ordinary snapshots of time and place into art. The technical aspects of composition and balance, color and lighting, vantage points and perspectives all come into play. But the real artist uses all of these things to not just show what the eyes saw but also express what the photographer felt while taking the picture. This is the basis of all of work behind the lens.
Nature Photography
We love the outdoors and taking pictures. Always have. So putting the two passions together was inevitable. Our explorations have taken us to many parts of the world and allowed us to capture some remarkable scenery and people.
We focus on capturing the essence a of location in the people and sights that make it special, telling a story about the place that mere words could not express. We strive to present feelings through imagery. From solitary mountain scenes to the proud countenance of a Zulu tribesman or the longing of a caged cheetah, we offer you images of extraordinary beauty and meaning.
Portrait Work
Like our nature photography, we strive to capture the feeling of a moment for posterity. We work with you to draw out your true nature and make that the center piece of each image. It is one thing to set lights and poses, but quite another to capture the real person on film.
